Ella is 6 months old!

Ella is 6 months old now and yes that is a snake in her mouth....for those of you who don't know, Liam is OBSESSED with snakes so he is teaching his little sister to enjoy them too. She has cut two teeth on the bottom front....that was fun for a few weeks. She can "almost" sit up by herself. She WAS sleeping all night from 9pm to around 5 or 6 am, but that all went kaput when the teeth started to come.
They both had a Dr.'s appt. this week and Liam weighed in at 36.6lbs and he is 39 1/2 inches tall...and Ella weighed in at 18.10 lbs and is 29 inches long...
In case your wandering what is on her mouth...PRUNES...yum....she had some bowel trouble....lets just say that it ended up more on the outside of her lips than inside!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY LIAM!
Liam turned 3 years old on April 7th and he already acts older....with sentences such as "mommy, my belly hurts." Why I ask? "Because its hungry" ....he also still loves his naps...we went for a walk this week and he said, "Mommy, I'm tired...lets take a nap" and as soon as we walked through the door he went down for a nap.....thank goodness!
We celebrated with Logan, our neighbor friend on his birthday and we had a birthday party with the family the weekend of March 30.
I also have some Easter pictures to post...if anyone needs to know who the little baby is (besides Ella, its our newest cousin- Lanie Lynn) which someone needs to help me with the spelling I may have it wrong. Also took Liam to a barber to get his hair cut for the first time and he did GREAT! I am showing a picture because he really buzzed his hair!

Nothing too new here...Chris has been promoted to Sgt. Spurlock, which he now works 3rd shift...that's fun keeping the kids quiet all day. It hasn't been too bad though.
Ella's favorite thing is to chew her feet! Oh, and let me just say this...Liam is now potty trained!

So its been awhile, Ella is growing so fast and I'm not posting enough pictures!
She had her 4 month check up on Valentine's Day...what a big girl she has become!
Weighing in at 16.12lbs and 27 1/2 inches long...Doc says she's is an average 9 month old. Which she is wearing 9 months in clothes....where did my baby go? She can roll on her belly from her back and she avoids Liam as best as she can, but in the pictures above you can see Liam is always where she is and sometimes snakes will appear on her head!
She also tried cereal for the first time, as you can see, she wasn't a big fan.
Liam is still a good little boy...we are testing each other in willpower with this stupid potty training...we have good days and then we have mostly bad days...I will win eventually! He says he will "Never" do it, but he will if I am doing the wiping!
We went to an indoor water park called Great Wolf Lodge across from Kings Island in Cincinnati, OH...Lots of fun, go on a weekday it gets crowded...we were getting cabin fever. Well here are some pictures, enjoy!

Well its Christmas time...almost! Ella met Santa for the first time this year...she liked him.
Liam, well he thought his knee was close enough. He also thought if he told him what he wanted he was going to get it at that moment....needless to say, he's not to fond of Santa, we left crying cause Santa didn't give him Thomas the train right then. Oh, the innocence of children, how it makes you smile.
The next few pictures tell the story of the Santa Express in New Haven, Kentucky.
What an experience that was! First of all, was not worth the money. Second, we were all sitting on the bench and Chris leaned over to ask Liam what we were about to do...and the poor child with excitement says "we are going to ride the train" lost his balance, fell off the bench, cracked his chin on the wood floor below and split his chin open. Chris wanted to take him to get a stitch, but I thought not. I did not want any part of that battle. It looks fine now, just sore. Now on to Miss Ella, she had this nice little Christmas outfit on and then kablam! She blew out her diaper...now I was prepared and had another outfit and 4 diapers...and 3 diaper changes later and Kablam another blow out -well lets just say she rode the Santa Express naked. I had two blankets with me so I wrapped them around her and then we called it quits and went home. The picture with Liam by the presents shows the blood all over his nice white sweater, which I got out with dishwasher soap. Little tip for ya!
The last picture is part of our little playgroup that we have here. I love it-cause of the wonderful mama's I have met here- they keep me sane.

Halloween 2007

Halloween came and went this year and we had a wonderful time...we went to Indiana for the festivities and I didn't get to take as many pictures as I wanted - due to my busy schedule, but here are a few. My Aunt Mona dresses up every year for her Halloween trick or treaters...she's always a treat. Liam went as a Pirate - rrrrrr just in case you couldn't figure it out.

IT'S FALL! MY FAVORITE TIME OF THE YEAR.

Liam has enjoyed lots of fall activities and as you can see He just LOVES getting his picture taken. Liam has turned 2 years and 6 months, lets see he knows his colors now and can still count to eleven. ABC's are a work in progress. He is adjusting to his baby sister slowly. Ella is 3 weeks old and she is still doing great. Sleeps most of the time, giving me 2-3 hour stretches at night and usually longer during the day. She is growing fast already..we are moving towards size 1 diapers.....Here are some of the latest pictures.

She is quiet and sweet...I'm sure she'll change but right now I am going to brag all day if I want too...because Liam was never quiet-sweet, but never quiet.
